LECTURE: Israel 2010 Speaker Series (1/20)

To help highlight issues in Israel and the Middle East, the Jewish Community Federation is bringing a series of speakers to Temple B'rith Kodesh to share their views on the violence-plagued area of the world.

The first speaker, Reuven Hazan, is a professor of political science at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Hazan will give a presentation called "The Headlines," which will attempt to put the news out of the Middle East into context. The lecture takes place at the temple (located at 2131 Elmwood Ave.) on Wednesday, January 20, starting at 7 p.m.

The series continues through June, with presentations in February, March and June. Each program is free and open to the public. For more information visit jewishrochester.org.
