Disco is something that should never be forgotten. Like the memory of when Randy Johnson's baseball pitch hit a wayward dove, or when George W. Bush expertly dodged an incoming shoe, disco is something that deserves to stay alive. The 2010 Ugly Disco Bash is part of the maintenance of our collective 70's memories, and will also be benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.
The event will include the live music of The Skycoasters, Fever - The Wrath of Polyester, and Rochester's Village Guys, as well as others. There will even be free shuttle buses running throughout the entire night. If you're looking for the true 70's star experience you can also purchase VIP tickets, which include drinks and admission to a special pre-party. And don't worry Syracuse fans: TV's will be set up to show the entire game.
The 2010 Ugly Disco Bash takes place on Saturday, February 27, at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center, 123 E Main St., 8 p.m.-1 a.m. Tickets cost $30-$40, or $100 for VIP (includes food and drinks). For more information call 279-8277 or visit uglydisco.com
