Now that you've equipped your personal salon space with a hot tub snatched up at the Lilac Festival, you can continue the remodel by scheduling a refit of your bathtub at this weekend's Taste of Rochester event. What hot tubs, bath fitters, waterproofing, and car insurance have to do with food boggles the imagination, and yet there those services are at just about every local festival. But if you can get beyond the odd pairings, you can sample some of Rochester's finest and favorite foods and drinks, consuming your way through many, many courses of cuisine. Purchase tasting tickets for a buck a piece and then trade them in for yummies offered by dozens of Rochester eateries. (Bath fitters sold separately.) Entertainment includes The Outlaws on Friday night, and Rochester's own Lou Gramm on Saturday.

Taste of Rochester takes place on the Main Street Bridge Friday, June 27, through Sunday, June 29, Friday noon-11 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-6 p.m. For more information visit tasteofrochester.net.
