As the weather heats up for another humid Rochester summer, what better way to cool off than by making a trip to the beach? Check out the Beach Wrestling Nationals and World Team Trials July 4-6 and the Toyota Water Jam July 5-6 at Charlotte Beach, located off Lake Avenue.

Registration for the beach wrestling competition starts at 4 p.m. Friday, July 4, and is open to everyone. Divisions for singles include the school boys and girls category (ages 13-14), cadets (ages 15-16), juniors (ages 16-18), senior men's and women's categories (ages 20+), and veterans (ages 35+). Matches will be arranged by weight class - ranging from 103 lbs to 285 lbs - and will be held Saturday, July 5, with the finals on Sunday, July 6.

Also at the beach, jet ski racers will take to the water on Saturday and Sunday for a PWC competition starting at 8 a.m. Fans can cheer for their favorites while listening to tunes on the sandy, (hopefully) sunny beach.
