THEATER: "Avenue Q" (3/5-3/9)
By Dale Evans on Mar. 5th, 2008
"Avenue Q" is like a collage of many movie themes. And it's like a collage of many play themes. And it's like "Sesame Street" for grownups. And it's like nothing else you've ever seen.
The Tony Award-winning adult puppet musical is currently playing at the Auditorium Theatre
through Sunday, March 9. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday 2 & 8 p.m., and Sunday 2 & 7 p.m. Tickets cost $29.50-$57.50 and can be purchased through ticketmaster.com. Watch out for full puppet nudity.

Ah, it's nice to see that even the ignorant are allowed a forum. Unlike my unlearned colleague, I found Avenue Q enchanting, entertaining, edgey and really funny. Instead of wasting your money on an evening of disappointing, mediocre theatre in Rochester, go to avenue Q instead.
