Paul, Bill, Bill and Peter
Chinchillas first got together in the winter of 1985 at Del Pedro's place on Monroe Ave in Rochester, NY. They jammed a while, drank a few beers, thought it sounded good and decided to name the group "Pets and Small Children". They changed the name to "Chinchillas" shortly after. They moved practice to Bill Corbett's rented house in Mendon, NY and then to Paul's place in Pittsford, NY where they still practice today. After practice on Thursday evenings, you can find them at Thirsty's in the village of Pittsford enjoying their favourite malt beverage.

I've only heard your Genesee Beer song so far, and I love it. First time I heard it was on WRUR, in my car,, and I had to pull over and listen. Being weened on Genesee, this song means a lot to me. In 1997 I wrote and recorded a song called sellin' Buicks to Ralph, a pretty little country song about drinking a bunch of Genesee beer and puking. I'm hoping to go to Abilenes tonight and catch you guys. If I don't see you in the future. I'll se you in the pasture.

Have heard this on 93.3 on friday afternoon and what a way to start the weekend makes you want to get home for a cold Genny. I just played your song for my husband who is a Genesee Beer drinker and he now can not get enough of your song. We have to buy your CD. Where can we get it? Thank you from a home town family. Thank you for this song.
