Global studies, being a Good Son and Brother are at the top of the list for David Salters a.k.a D. Swagga 16 year old National Recording Artist.  The godson of Andre Foxxe lead guitar player of the legendary George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic David is collected beyond his years; this rhymester prides himself on accomplishing good grades and doing the right thing. That includes remaining drug-free.  D. Swagga coined the term, -- Wavy-Kid, including the new dance craze “The Wavy Dance”. What is a Wavy Kid? Cool, laid back, taking care of business and just being a kid!  It’s this SWAGGA that magnetizes fans to D.  

His new single “Do You Got A Boyfriend?” Is telling of a pursuit of young love.   His mild lyrics are fitting for all�something the mainstream airwaves welcome.  In a time where explicit lyrics are the norm, D. Swagga re-introduces innocence, while maintaining his bravado to the world of Hip-Hop and Pop.  Inspired by pioneers such as Rakim and Will Smith, the hardcore lines of many of the recent rap artist have never been appealing to this young lyricist.  “I just want to bring fun, truth and real hip hop back to the game,” Swagga explains.  “I want to make music that parents will listen and nod their heads together with their kids”. This is why his fans love his music.
D. Swagga signed with DMG Records/ DMG Music Group a Music Entertainment and Multimedia Company out of D.C. in the spring of 09.  His new music video for the single is set to premier this fall.
