I've been romanced by bass sounds ever since I can remember. It probably began with the sound of waves pounding the beach near my home town. In 1972, I decided it was time to make my own bass sounds. Except for a brief hiatus while focusing completely on being a father, I've been doing it ever since. I am completely in love with the instrument. As of February 2008, I'm trying to assemble a rather odd band which few people seem to have much faith in (so far). At the same time, I'm interested in other people's projects and ideas, because there's always something valuable to be learned. Or, it's just a kick to do it. Could be studio work, or a gig that happens just once. It's all good.Although I naturally gravitate toward blues & jazz, my range of musical interests is enormous. If there's something I haven't heard, it's only because there's so much to discover and so little time to listen. If you're looking for a bassist with whom to collaborate, please get in touch. Everything is possible.
