Madeline Forster's 6-song demo recorded in mid-2007 has quickly caught the attention of a broad audience. Her clean, effortless and approachable sound is drawing listeners young and old to the "songbook" era of great, classic jazz. Madeline has studied voice in Rochester at the Eastman School of Music, and in Toronto at York University. She has been heard in Toronto at various clubs including Ten Feet Tall, Dominion on Queen, and Amis du Jazz in Sonya, Ontario, and she will be the featured guest artist at the Arts and Letters Club in Toronto later this year. In Rochester she has been a featured performer at Oak Hill Country Club, Fairport Canal Days Festival, Bistro 135, The Little Theatre Cafe, Tasteology, Virtu, and Brio. June 2007 - “…she really has her own sound…unlike anyone else” -Bill Tiberio, The Bill Tiberio Group May 2007 - “In the current vernacular, I was blown away. Madeline…is a natural. Her singing was so rich and tasty you could only conclude she is musically aware way beyond her years. [Her performance] was a treat.” -Howard Weiss Former Concertmaster, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra
