BIOGRAPHY  NOSTALGIC REUNION “a small band with a BIG BAND sound"  This outstanding saxophone jazz ensemble has been together since 1995, performing at many community events and private parties in the Greater Rochester Area, the Finger Lakes Region and at many venues throughout Western New York and the Southern Tier. Look for NOSTALGIC REUNION at community events such as Gazebo Concerts in Irondequoit, Spencerport, Geneva and Clifton Springs, Rochester's HarborFest, and Corn Hill, Darien Lakes State Park and Lakeside Beach State Park Concerts and Dances, Fairport's “Car Cruz” Nights, Corning's "Crystal City Jazz Festival," Webster’s Village Days, Scottsville’s Summerfest, Big Band Dances at the Robach Community Center, City of Roch. Stardust Ballroom Dances and many others. The group's instrumentation features four saxophones, two altos, a tenor and a baritone   . . . .the nucleus of our unique sound, plus keyboards, electric bass, drums and vocals.  8 seasoned professionals make the exciting sounds of our ensemble. Our library is extensive and includes lively big band music for dancing; fox trots, ballads, a range of Latin sounds.  In addition, NOSTALGIC REUNION performs classic jazz, swing and contemporary music to suit almost every occasion.  The group is outstanding for "jazzy" weddings, reunions, anniversaries and corporate events. There is no other group exactly like NOSTALGIC REUNION in Western New York.  And . .  with vocal renditions by Tony Ferra in the Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darrin and Engelbert styles, NOSTALGIC REUNION makes an excellent presentation at all of its performances.  NOSTALGIC REUNION "a small band with a BIG BAND sound"     #12Nrbio2006
