Formed in 2001, The White Devils are a lo-fi blues/garage band out of Rochester, NY comprised of FRANK DEBLASE(ex-Frantic Flattops), PAUL ROCCO(ex-Chesterfield Kings) and ROB FILARDO(ex-Priests). The band has shared the stage with the likes of Link Ray, John Mayall and even Jerry Lee Lewis. Coincidentally, their first show was supporting Southern Culture On The Skids. The sound of the White Devils is nothing like the band members' previous endeavors. It's a minimal set-up consisting of two slide guitar players and a drumset comprised of 2 drums and a set of maracas. No bass guitar needed. The Devils claim their influences are "greasy food and greasy women" although musically they pull from old blues, gospel, a little funk, a little classic rock and some punk and garage. The band is recording their first full-length this fall.

My sincere sympathy goes out to the band and Paully Rocco's family. He was a Rock and Roll guitar legend from Orleans County NY. We are deeply saddened to learn of his passing tonight. R.I.P. Paully.
