Even though new promoters are booking it, the 2009 edition of Party In The Park is shaping up to be demographically similar to what it has always been: plenty of rock, but nothing all that edgy or new. But note that the headliners for July 2, 23, and 30 have yet to be announced, so that could change.
Shows run 5-11 p.m. on Thursdays between June 11 and August 6 at the Riverside Festival Site at Court Street and Exchange Boulevard, across from Blue Cross Arena. Admission is free. For more information call 311.
