The 2010 Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival announced today that it will add two new Club Pass venues to the hugely popular annual event: Abilene (153 Liberty Pole Way) and the Rochester Club Ballroom (120 East Avenue). That will make a total of 11 Club Pass venues and 180 Club Pass shows for this year's festival.

Each of the new venues will specialize on a specific kind of music. Abilene will host the Roots and Americana Series, while the Rochester Club will feature the new Viva Italia Series, with Italian and Italian-American artists.

The full 2010 Jazz Festival line-up will be released in the spring, but Club Passes are now on sale at the Jazz Fest website and through Ticketmaster. A special holiday price of $119 runs through January 1, when it will increase to $139. Tickets are also currently on sale for two of the festival's headlining shows, Jeff Beck and Bernie Williams. Check the Jazz Fest website fore more information.
