State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli and Mayor Bob Duffy will announce the results of an audit of the Rhinos' soccer stadium tomorrow at 11 a.m..

The state initiated the audit in June 2008 to determine whether $19 million in state grant money was used properly. The money was meant to help fund the stadium's design and construction. The city took ownership of the stadium after the prior owner defaulted on a loan. The audit was conducted at Duffy's request.

For Background on the troubles of the stadium, formerly Paetec Park, now Marina Auto Stadium, check out this interview with city Corporation Counsel Tom Richards from 2008.
