The Congressional Budget Office has found that the Democrats' health-care bill will reduce the federal deficit substantially over the next 20 years, according to Politico. That's exceptionally good news for Democrats pushing the reform bill.

The New York Times, which quotes Democrats as saying the same thing, says the CBO's report is expected to be released today.

Representative James Clyburn of South Carolina described the Democrats as "absolutely giddy over the good news."

Democratic are predicting that the House will vote on the bill on Sunday. They had hoped to vote on Saturday, but they had promised their members 72 hours to study the bill after the CBO figures were released, and that came a day later than had been expected.
