IRAQ TOTALS - 4,416 US servicemen and servicewomen, 318 Coalition servicemen and servicewomen, and approximately 97,461 to 106,348 Iraqi civilians have been killed in Iraq from the beginning of the war and occupation to August 27.

American servicemen and servicewomen killed from August 15 to 22:

-- Sgt. Brandon E. Maggart, 24, Kirksville, Mo.

AFGHANISTAN TOTALS - 1,249 US servicemen and servicewomen and 784 Coalition servicemen and servicewomen have been killed in Afghanistan from the beginning of the war and occupation to August 27. Statistics for Afghani civilian casualties are not available.

American servicemen and servicewomen killed from August 18 to 24:

-- Spc. Tristan H. Southworth, 21, West Danville, Vt.

-- Sgt. Ronald A. Rodriguez, 26, Falls Church, Va.

-- Lance Cpl. Robert J. Newton, 21, Creve Coeur, Ill.

-- Pfc. Justin B. Shoecraft, 28, Elkhart, Ind.
