The Rochester Broadway Theatre League says its theater project is moving forward at the Midtown site.
"Several weeks ago we asked the city and the county for their support for this project and their help in dealing with the State and federal delegations," RBTL board chair Arnie Rothschild said in a statement released today. "We've received the support we asked for and we have started the quiet phase of our fundraising efforts.
RBTL chose the Midtown site in June, after a nearly year-long process. But the organization imposed a number of conditions on the project. Rothschild set a September 1 deadline for them to be met.
