Jack Davis's bid for a spot on the election ballot is over. First, the State Board of Elections denied his application to form his own party. Now a court has struck down his appeal of that decision. More at the Buffalo News.
Davis lost the September 9 Democratic primary in the 26th Congressional District to attorney Alice Kryzan.

It wouldn't surprise me to learn that Davis lost the primary with that free-gasoline promo. Isn't it illegal to give monetarily significant gifts to potential voters? He certainly wasn't shy about associating his name with the stunt. The impression it made on me was that he has more money than judgment.
