During his House campaign, Cornng Democrat Eric Massa had a lot to say about the Iraq war - particularly how we need to end it.
Now he's going to have a chance to add to that very debate. In a move that ought to surprise few, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer yesterday assigned the Massa to the House Armed Services Committee.
That was just one of the bits to come out of the Massa camp yesterday; he also signed on to co-sponsor a bill that eliminates automatic pay raises for Congressional representatives.
Ands even though he's only been in office for a day, it's clear the Republican Congressional Campaign Committee is targeting Massa for the 2010 elections. The committee sent out a press release criticizing his votes on some procedural matters, including a change that removes term limits for committee chairs.
