Why don't you do a story about responsible gun owners? The fact is that despite stricter legislation over the years, gun violence goes up. Politicians jump at the public outcry, because they don't know what else to do.
It is not easy to get a gun legally in New York, and most criminals buy their weapons on the street. Here is an idea: Let's give judges the right to impose stricter sentences for gun violence. Stop penalizing the responsible citizens.
I cannot believe that New York State is still caught up on gun control curbing violence. Minorities are the primary cause of most gun violence. Stop being so concerned with political correctness and pull your heads out of the sand, New York State.
