What an interesting, one sided, fake interpretation of events. I guess the missing upper right panel was the part when Occupiers refused to meet with the mayor in a group less than 300 people. Perhaps the next panel will show what is going on in other cities around the state and country (Oakland, NYC, Albany) where the mayors tried to co-opt the movement for political gain, made no formal agreements with occupy and are now violently evicting them. I given up on anything even approaching accuracy from agroup that views itself as heroic and righteous ( a dangerous way for any group or individual to view themselves), but is there no interest, anywhere in this paper, to produce journalism as opposed to advocacy?

Love it. (And let me take this opportunity to add one of my particular beefs: I am tired of getting salary "raises" that don't cover the increased costs of parking at work and health insurance.)

I am well aware that a cartoon in the opinion section is there to an express an opinion, but the entirety of the City Newspaper, on this subject, is now opinion. The problem with an outlet such as Fox News isn't just that they are wrong, it is that they don't care about whether they are acurately portraying events. They just want to feed red meat to their audience and create a kind of alternative reality in which fears and prejudices are reinforced and act as a kind of echochamber for unchallenged ideas. Though operating on the opposite end of the political spectrum, this is exactly what City has done in its coverage of occupy. different lyrics, same music.
