Amiel's offers "Rochester's Original Submarine Sandwiches," which include small, medium and jumbo versions of a variety of meat and veggie subs made with your choice of ingredients. The subs are served on fresh homemade rolls baked fresh daily. Amiel's was the first multi-location sandwich shop to open in Rochester back in '63. It once had 24 area locations; now it's down to two.

Charming 50's-style atmosphere and great oldies on the radio. Wait staff is exceedingly friendly. However, ordered a tuna salad wrap. First of all, you have to pay 50 cents extra for the wrap. That's pretty steep for something that's a free option almost everywhere else. And secondly, the tuna salad was like 80 percent mayonnaise -- they could literally pour it out of the container. It turned my stomach; I didn't finish even half the wrap. Will not go back. Back to DiBella's for me.
