A tiny store on the canal with a huge crowd outside, Bill Wahl's is a Pittsford institution. Sit on the ice-cream-stained patio with the junior sports teams, or walk on the canal path with the ducks. While it's an independent, made-on-site place, the selection is chain-store sized. If you can answer the trivia question, you get a free kiddie cone. Cash only.

Personally i agree with the first comment from my experience Bill Whals has gone down hill in quality.

I grew up having Bill Wahl's ice and twenty-five years later it is still one of the highlights of coming back to Pittsford. Has it gone down in quality, perhaps, but not by much, and is still the best ice cream I've had.

You said your wife picked it up and "we" opened it up which means one thing. Your wife didn't even bother to check if her own child�s info was right? Did it ever occur to you that if the Name, Date and Frosting Colors were wrong that you ate another child�s ice cream cake because your wife was handed the wrong cake by accident? You ALSO have a responsibility.
