Brio is a relatively recent addition to the Brighton/Pittsford dining scene. The bar dominates the dining room, leading to a rather loud atmosphere. But there is an outdoor patio and a private dining room, plus a beautiful mural over the kitchen area. With a reservation in advance, kids can make their own pizzas on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights.

I have eaten at Brio a couple times, and while the food is pretty consistent I have had problems with service every time I've been there. Both times we went, somehow one of our orders got lost in the system and we were left waiting for a very long time for food. I would love to give them another chance because the food was pretty delicious, but am not sure I could take waiting that long again!

My two friends and I ate at Brio last night for dinner and besides the long wait for service, we all order the same meal and it was terrible. It had a ransid taste to it and I had to get up and go complain (because our waitress took so long) and finally the manager came over to apologize. That was it! They took our dinner away, we ordered salads (for the same price!) and they did not offer to compensate us in any way at all. The three of us decided we will not be going back there again. The ransid taste is still in my mouth form the bad linguini dinner. Also, we asked for cheeses and the waitress never brought it to us and she added a coffee/tea charge to our bill that we never ordered. This was not a good experience in a restaurant!
