Carroll's has been a fixture on East Main St (just past Culver) for years. Because the little white house it's in stands alone, you feel like you're visiting your Irish cousins rather than heading out to the bar. Carroll's exudes Irish charm inside and out, from the shamrock on the sign to the Irish bloke behind the bar. The place serves up traditional Irish fare and pub food; you'll find corned beef and cabbage, a packed parking lot, and hardly room to stand on St. Patty's Day. During the week it's calmer, and attracts many faithful regulars. The dining room in the back doubles as a party room and gathering space for musicians who hold informal seisiuns every Monday.
