The B&O Railroad used to run through LeRoy and now the depot has become a local gathering place for families. It is the kind of restaurant that could become an almost daily habit: breakfast on Sunday, lunch on Monday, dinner on Tuesday, and back for breakfast on Wednesday. The quality of the food and the friendly service make this a real value.

This is one of my favorite places to go. The service is always friendly and attentive - and open to special dietary requests. The spinach salad is a spectacular choice for lunch, but is available anytime. They also serve a wonderful chicken pot pie.
The meat and seafood entrees are delicious, too.
Be sure to save room for dessert! They always serve special dishes in keeping with holidays. Worth the trip to Leroy!

Suspend your coolness and your haute expectations, and enjoy this friendly, homey place. The hostess and the food are like an ideal visit to Grandma's house. They're remarkably accommodating for vegetarians, long-haired hippies, etc. The baked goodies that come before the meal are a highlight, and if the train goes by while you're eating, you get a token for a free dessert.

What a wonderful place to stop and eat. If you don't look up you will miss some of the most fantastic scenery in NY. We have had dinner there several times and today was the first for breakfast. Try the french toast and the eggs benedict, they are wonderful. It is just over an hour drive from my house, I'll be back.
