Doc's Lakeside is located a short distance from the north end of Canandaigua Lake. The restaurant specializes in surf and turf, with live Maine lobster delivered daily. Start your meal with a bowl of Manhattan clam chowder, or order a grilled tenderloin pizza (thin crust topped with roasted garlic, olive oil, sliced tomato, grilled tenderloin, artichoke hearts, and Italian cheese) as an appetizer to share. The restaurant serves bistro salads (field greens garnished with tomato, cucumber, olives, dried cherries, and candied walnuts) with your choice of grilled salmon, steak, ahi tuna, or seared scallops. The menu includes 11 different sandwiches to choose from, including the lobster salad roll (chunks of lobster meat tossed with mayo, celery, old bay seasoning, and lemon served in a New England roll with fresh fruit). For dinner, try the linguine and veggie toss (linguine tossed in olive oil, basil, and garlic with seasonal vegetables), the scallops with spicy orange sauce, or the tournedos au poivre (twin 5 oz. black pepper filets of beef tenderloin finished with brown brandy sauce).

Seafood bisque...great. Had the salad with the scallops in the middle...great and filling!
Just had this cod special....yeah!! Worth it. Loved it.
Love this place. Nice atmosphere. Good Service. Love the food. You may think it's costly but try these same dishes in Pittsford, I guarantee you will pay 5 to 10 more dollars.
