Eco Bella, a bakery offering vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free treats, has opened in the South Wedge, responding to the increasing number of people who have food allergies and dietary restrictions. From the vegan menu, try a sweet potato cake or a Boston cream cake, a strawberry rhubarb pie, some molasses cookies, or a whole wheat scone. From the gluten-free menu try the double chocolate sugar cookie with frosting, a blackberry scone, a mango pineapple muffin, or a chocolate donut.

Eco Bella is a godsend! I have multiple food allergies. Before Eco Bella came around, I would be the only one sadly facing an empty plate come dessert time...but no more! No more "bowl-o-fruit" consolation prize! No more "birthday banana"! Never again will I have to truck in baked goods from the Greenstar (vegan) Market in Ithaca for special occasions! Yahoo!
