A City Newspaper Critic’s Choice for value, El Latino is also delicious. A large dinner of roast pork with lots of rice, a bowl of beans, cabbage or salad, and plantains is just $9 and would feed a small family. That roast pork is outrageous, but the other stewed meats are also great. Try the homemade hot sauce on everything.
