Run by a husband-and-wife team, Goodness Cakes Bakery is a cozy space, nice and bright, thanks to the University Avenue-facing window. The single counter is home to many bakery favorites including cupcakes, cappucino brownies, raspberry almond tarts, and, of course, cakes. The shop is strictly takeout, except for one table with two chairs if you can't wait. Beyond the confections that inhabit the display case, the couple's passion is wedding cakes. They give brides and grooms free reign to create the dessert of their dreams; one creation for an autumn wedding was in the shape of trees with leaves.

Try their cakes and mini cup cakes and eclairs and tarts...it just keeps going. Everything is delicious. Best around

Hands down the most yummy cupcakes in Rochester!! Also had a slice of wedding cake they made at a wedding we went to.... not your typical wedding cake at all- Delicious!!!! If you're having a rough day, or just want to treat yourself and have a "wicked sweet tooth" like I do, stop in- you'll be so glad you did!!!

Best desserts ever! Nick and Bethany are amazing! Let me start by saying I am not a fan of cupcakes. And yet I find myself needing to stop by at least once a week for a mini cupcake (or 2 ;)). These 2 have a talent for creating desserts that have the perfect sweetness. Not too sweet, never overpowering. One of my favorites is their peanut butter and jelly cake. Again, you would think this would be super sweet, but it's not, it's perfection. Make sure and stop by for yourself!

Bethany and Nick prepared a wonderful range of sweets for an event we sponsored. Perfect in every way they significantly enhanced our reception!
