For many people, Italian-American food was a major part of growing up.Rochester has countless Italian-American restaurants, and Guido’s is one of the best.There are only 50 seats, so there can be a wait, especially on weekends.Restaurants that do mediocre or poor Italian-American food have done the genre a disservice.When is it done well, as it is at Guido’s, the result is some of the best comfort food available. Bar stays open past 10.

The best beans & greens in town! It can be a wait, but plan ahead or enjoy the bar.
