Located on the shores of Lake Ontario, Hedges dates back to the Prohibition era, when people placed orders for alcohol with the bar owners, who put the filled orders in the hedges for pick-up. It was first a 12-room hotel, and now houses a restaurant that serves "turf" and "neptune" entrees, ranging from prime porterhouse lamb chops and chicken cutlet parmesan to broiled lobster tails and "seafood leo" (fresh shrimp, sea scallops, crabmeat, littlenceck clams, and mussles sauteed in a white clam sauce). Desserts include hot fudge and mexican sundaes, creme brulee, strawberry shortcake, and more. Specialty coffees include Irish, Spanish, and Dutch coffee, as well as Seaman's coffee cappucinos, and lattes. The restaurant is open three seasons -- spring summer, and fall -- and is closed during winter.

Way overpriced. Use to go there for Easter, was good. Our last experience wasn't!
