Hogan's is one of those classic neighborhood places in an interesting brick building with an ever-changing chalkboard menu. The food is interesting and consistent, year after year. There are relatively few restaurants that have been open for so many years and continue to feel current.

Hogan's is one of Rochester's finest. From the array of specials every night to their custom brews on tap -- I've always had an exceptional dining experience there. A great place to take visitors from out of town to give them a "taste of Rochester" who might need more than a garbage plate to tide them over.

Probably the biggest vegetarian selection in town. The food is good, if not bursting with flavor. Bread and mac/potato salads are great; stir fries and garden salads tend to be watery.

Burgers are amazing - always cooked to the right temp. Also have some great wine and beer selections. Keep up the good work.
