It looks like a diner, and at some point was a Perkins, but Lehigh goes beyond diner choices. The restaurant offers huge, tasty salads (chef, Greek, Hawaiian, and Ceasar verions, among others) that come somewhat dissected on your plate so you can mix at your leisure. Pasta dishes (the house special with linguine includes artichoke hearts, olives, and other tasty ingredients), chicken and meat specials, and more also grace the menu. It's hard to pass the display case of desserts without at least grabbing a chocolate chunk cookie; at a buck twenty-five, they're nearly impossible to resist.

Together we enjoyed the Greek and Spanish omelet. Grek - eggs with tomato and feta. It was very nice as some places overload the feta and since feta is salty it can be overwhelming if it is made this way. But the feta was just right. Though I think they make 4 egg omelet as it was huge. I had home fries, well done and rye toast with coffee. Spanish -. He thought they would dice veggies and mix in the egg batter. But, they cut the veggies in large slices (red and green peppers, onions and tomatoes) and fold them in the middle of the fried egg. Not the best choice for him. He doesn't much like vegetables made like this and ended up eating the egg, and leaving the veggies. He also had this with home fries, rye toast and coffee. The experience here was pleasant and we do plan on going again. They had a nice bakery section with lots of sweet pies and baked items that I hope to try in the future. Since it is a little distance from home, it may happen only if we go to Marketplace mall do some other shopping in that area. The waitstaff was pleasant and catered to our needs. Within $15 a nice filling breakfast that will hold us over through lunch also :)!! Thank you! More at - sappardready.blogspot.com/2008/06/lehigh-restaurant.html

We love Diners, and are always looking for some place new to check out. We were not disappointing tonight when we checkout the Lehigh. The girl behind the counter when we walked in was less than pleasant, but our waitress Terry M. was very friendly, quick and professional. One of Rochester's best!
When It came to ordering, it was a hard choice as what to pick. They have a large menu, 3 pages of items to choose from plus 10 +/- dinner specials as well. Tonight they had several fish options on special. I debated either having the broiled trout, or salmon. I went with the broiled salmon. It came with 2 side, in which I had fries and a garden salad with Greek dressing. The dressing was very good, and the salad was crisp and tasty. My Salmon and fries were very hot when they arrived. Always a great thing! The salmon was a little over cooked, but the lemon butter sauce that it was cooked in was excellent, making up for the dry fish and my fried were crispy and very hot! My partner had the breaded fish fry, which was a very large portion. By what I sampled, it seemed very moist and not soggy at all. For his sides, he had mashed potatoes, (instant) with gravy and the salad with Greek dressing too.
All in all it was a great meal. Fast, friendly, very tasty! We were looking for low key, and quite. Someplace far from the hustle and crowed of the hot spots. The Lehigh was the place, we will definitely be going back.
