Locals get very heated about where to go for Mexican. The best way to find out where you’ll like is to try them yourself. Maria’s has a terrific molé sauce to its credit, and the best fresh chips in town. Service can be slow at times, but worth a trip to check out.

I'm with Cindy on this one, having lived on the west coast I have experienced some great Mexican food and Maria's has got to be THE WORST I've had-it's flavorless and sloppy and the service needed help themselves. Do your selves a flavor and get to El Rincon.

I know people like this restaurant, but I don't. It's in a creepy location and just doesn't feel (or smell!) clean. The food is OK, but not wonderful. Service is consistently bad. I keep going back there, but I am never pleased with it. (What can I say, we're desperate for places to eat in Webster!)

I love their Mexican food. The service is sometimes slow because they are usually swamped on the weekend.

Just moving up here from Texas, I've been desperate to find a decent Mexican restaurant. This is definitely not it. The service was terrible and the food was at best mediocre. Their beef burritos didn't come with any filling beyond the beef and the enchiladas were not any better. Very disappointed and definitely won't return to this place.

I've been eating at Maria's since the early 80's when I was a kid. I've always loved their food. One warning to most people who prefer Tex-Mex - it's not. The chorizo is fantastic, the homemade chips are probably the best in Rochester, and the margaritas are to die for.

Short review -- Poor service. Dirty decor. Bad food.
I am so shocked to see this place has good reviews. Must be the same folks who believe Taco Bell is decent.
