Chef and owner, John Venturo, has created a colorful and inviting place, across the street from the well-known Parkleigh. Lunch includes ostrich burgers, smoked turkey wraps, and tortellini with vodka sauce. The lunch and dinner menus highlight different martinis to complement each dish. The Fuzzy Martini is recommended for the skewered grilled shrimp on a red cabbage salad with mandarin oranges and fresh cilantro. The restaurant is in a great neighborhood for taking a walk after lunch or dinner.

horrible service!!!! Our waitress was rude and not very helpful. We ordered the signature tortellini dish (thinking just cheese tortellinis-did not say otherwise) but we realized it has shrimp and lobster in it. One of the guests happened to be allergic and could not eat it. We asked it to be taken off the bill, since we were rushed on time. The waitress replied "ummmm...I doubt it" - who says that????? I have been in the restaurant buisness for years and you do not say things like that. There was also no manager (or anyone else for that matter) to speak to.

Wow, my experience was completely different from the other review. In short - way overpriced, small portions, lousy martini's. Went here for a birthday celebration...what a disappointment. 2 people was $85 for 2 drinks, appitizer, 2 meals..... I could have gone somewhere MUCH better and more reasonable.

The Martini Grill is in a wood-floor, -trim city house with a warm atmosphere. The warmed brie with fruit and bread started us out wonderfully. The spinach linguine is so fabulous that I didn't want to stop eating it ever! My companion loved the vegan ravioli the same, and sopped up the remaining sauce with the bread. The taste and texture of the sauces were perfect. There is an extensive martini menu like I have never seen. The special Bikini-tini with a pineapple coconut flavor went down so smoothly that you didn't even notice there was alcohol in it. The Cuba was drier and for those who like a strong taste. The American Beauty was just that, beautiful and tasty, but more potent than the Bikini-tini. The Key-Lime was different making us think of something tropical and yummy. Unfortunately, no room for dessert. Highly recommended!

Had my 30th birthday celebration there a little over a month ago. Great experience. We had a very attentive server who was personable and knowledgable about the food. The martinis were great -- I had three, and was feeling no pain. The tortellini dish I had was absolutely delicious. Everybody had a great time, and I'll definitely go back in the future. It may be slightly pricey, but I felt like it was totally worth it.
