Matthew's is an after-work (or after-the-movie -- it's near the Little) spot on East Ave with an outdoor patio good for people-watching in warm months. There's a decent selection of beers on tap, and a spacious interior that can hold parties and special events. Bar food-style appetizers at Matthew's include standard wings, mozza sticks, and potato skins; deep fried clam strips, "Irish" nachos (waffle fries deep fried and covered in chili and cheddar), and fried ravioli are also offered. The regular menu includes burgers (veggie, bacon, and otherwise), wraps (turkey, cheeseburger, and more), pasta (chicken parm, and sausage and cheese ravioli), soups and salads, desserts, and more.
