The Midtown Café on Chestnut Street is located in a former location of the Flour City Diner. Midtown serves breakfast and lunch. The menu offers standard breakfast fare, including items like steak and eggs, a three-meat omelet (bacon, sausage, and ham), and pancakes. Midtown Café also features specialties, including a Spanish frittata (a Spanish omelet which arrives smothered in cheese and full of vegetables), and cornflake-crusted French toast. For lunch, try the four-cheese pita pizza (mozzarella, parmesan, asiago, and fontina cheese) or the steak bomber sandwich (steak with sautéed peppers and onions, mushrooms, and provolone cheese).

I tried this place for the first time this week, and loved it! I was picturing it being a small diner, but it's spacious and upscale, and the food was fancy. Delicious! I hope this place makes it - it's a great addition to downtown!
