Mr. Dominic’s has been serving up Italian-American hospitality, large portions, and reasonable prices in Rochester for more than 25 years. It's had the same cooks that whole time, which is more unusual than you might think.

Delicious Italian food but the service is sometimes under par.

We have friends who live in Rochester and, when we visit, always go to Mr. Dominic's (they never ask us if we want to go there). Each occasion (I think 3 or 4 times to date) has been disappointing: noisy, crowded, average food at best.

About 15 years ago when I was last at Mr. Dominics the food then was at best average. There was one thing that really upset me. The waitress asked us to leave when we were done eating. Apparently they wanted to "turn" the table over for the next customer.
I left a penny tip and vowed to NEVER go there again, hence the 15 year time period.
There are many far better choices for your dining dollar why settle for second best?
