Pane Vino is tucked away on Water Street, with a courtyard that features views of the Genesee River and Kodak tower. This is especially nice for outdoor dining in the summertime, and a perfect hideaway to enjoy a glass of cabernet at sunset. The restaurant is casual, rustic, and completely authentic. Order a couple appetizers as the entrées aren’t huge; try the caprese salad drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette and fresh basil. With an extensive wine list (almost all available by the glass) and, word has it, the best penne vodka in town, it’s a perfect romantic rendezvous or simply an escape, depending on your point of view.

Best food we've had at a "nice" restaurant in a very long time. This is what Two Vine should be. Service was a little sloppy, but we barely noticed because the food and atmosphere were so good.

The best italian food in town. We've never had a bad meal in the 3 years we've been going to this establishment. Add to that the best live jazz and blues in town on Thursday nights and you have a winning combination. Check out the Mark Cassara band for the best smooth jazz outside of New york city, The John Cole blues band and the Beale street blues band. You won't be disappointed if you like live music. Plus you never know who might step up to the mike and blow you away with their vocals. So check out Pane Vino.
