There's no shortage of selections when you dine at Peaches Café. For breakfast, choose one of Peaches' 16 scramblers, including the Mediterranean scramble (artichokes, spinach, peppers, tomatoes, chopped black olives with farm fresh eggs and topped with Feta cheese) or try one of eight styles of eggs benedict. The lunch menu includes a wide variety of salads, platters, Philly-style sandwiches, grilled chicken sandwiches, wraps, paninis, burgers, quesadillas, and hot, cold, and club sandwiches. For a light lunch, place an order for one of Peaches' avocado stack salads (sliced tomatoes layered with slices of fresh mozzarella cheese and fresh avocado topped with crumbly blue cheese on a bed of mixed greens served with balsamic vinegar and olive oil) or harvest salads (mixed field greens, topped with sliced apples, candied walnuts, dried cranberries, crumbly blue cheese, tomatoes, and citrus vinaigrette dressing). Add grilled chicken, steak, or salmon to any of the salads to make a more hearty meal. If you're looking for a unique twist on the sandwich, try the Monte Cristo platter (thin-sliced turkey, ham, Swiss cheese, on white bread dipped in a French toast egg batter grilled to a golden brown served with French fries and coleslaw). For dinner sample the coconut shrimp or the homemade meatloaf, which are just two of many entrees offered.

I have been there two times and I was extremely disappointed each time. Expect to wait over an hour for your food, and the food is nothing to write home about.

Went on a recent Thursday afternoon with my two kids. Very friendly staff. Fast service (and it was quite busy still at almost 1pm). The kids liked that they could eat breakfast food at lunch time. I liked my wrap--very good. The fresh cut fries (as opposed to frozen) were a nice surprise.

I like the options here when shopping in Webster--so much better than the alternatives (Uno, Panera Bread--which is about the same price--or Red Robin).

Could I give peaches a zero?

They worst dining experience I have ever had. To be honest I don’t know where to begin, so let me start with our seating experience. My wife and I decided to try out peaches since it is around the corner from where we live. On the way down there we called two friends, who also live around the corner, to join us for brunch.

My wife and I arrive and leave our names on the seating list for a party of four. While waiting one of the two friends arrive so the three of us wait on the fourth. Our names are called by the owner, the older guy with slicked back gray hair, and were told because only three of us have arrived and he cannot seat us. According to him they have a rule. We explain that the other fellow is on his way and probably by the time we seat he will be arriving. We also explain that it is our first time at the restaurant and would like to review the menu. We are refused and so starts our wonderful experience. After the gentlemen turns around and leaves our fourth party member arrives and we are shortly seated.

After we are seated we find out that we have two lunch menus and two breakfast menus. The waitress explains that because of the hour she wasn’t sure if we would want breakfast or lunch so went 50/50 on the menus instead of two sets of menus for each person. Very small I know and if I wasn’t already rubbed the wrong way by the owner I would have not even taken the time to notice. However, at this point I’m already very disappointed but after hearing about the wide verity on the menu I’m still looking forward to a good meal.

It couldn’t be further from the truth. While the menu is wide in verity the food is less the mediocre. For the price, the rude attitudes and being rushed through my meal the food quality wasn’t on par to make up for a bad experience. To be very honest the food was OK at best.

I believe the final straw was the whole time we were eating we kept on being asked if we wanted a box? We had our food on the table for maybe 8-10minutes at best and not a single person had finished and we were being asked if we needed boxes? I can tell you that four people walked out with no ambition of ever returning. The sad thing is that this is the first review I have ever written. Such a bad experience I felt everyone else should be for warned.

When I first started going to Peaches, I was impressed with the decor and the menu choices (especially the lunches). I recommended Peaches to all my friends and family. But as we kept going, we were very disappointed in the rudeness of the owner, Charlie. If you ask for a booth, he acts as though you asked for a million dollars (even when the restaurant was not that busy). When he obliged us, he sat us right near the kitchen doors that almost knocked into my husband. The last straw was early evening yesterday. We went in and again I asked for a booth and again it's like they are doing you a favor. She gave us the menus and seated us and we never saw a waitress. There were four waitresses in the back that seemed to be having some kind of controversy over something and not waiting on anyone. After 10 minutes of NO ONE even acknowledgeing our presence, we got up and left. Believe me, we will never go there again. There are too many other restaurants in Webster, Irondequoit and the Rochester area that are more than happy to make your dining experience more than pleasant.

I have been to Peaches three times over the last year. On a positive note, I think the food is good value for the money. It is a diner so I think the expectation has to be that. My mother loves the salmon there. I have had a club sandwich and a fish fry which were both good. This last time I had an omlet and my mother had eggs benedict which were both very good. All the meals were very large and of good quality for the price you are paying.

We found the waitresses to be friendly and efficient. They do congregate a little too much in the back but overall we have been happy with the service and the waitresses were always friendly.

One area they could improve on is the size of some of the entrees are enormous. I had an omlet which was a six egg omlet. It was way too big and no one needs six eggs. I left half of it behind me even though it was delicious. It would be nice to have the option of a smaller serving on some of the entrees. Bigger is not always better.

The main detraction of the restaurant is the owner. He should get a hostess with a good personality to run the front of the house. The first two times we went we asked for a booth and were refused. He was rude about the issue. This week when we went there we were going to leave if he refused our request. Suprisingly, the owner was actually friendly and seated us in a booth in the back. Maybe he is starting to read some of the postings about his restaurant. I would have given the restaurant four stars but for our first two experiences there. The only reason I went back this time was because my mom likes the food there. So after this visit, I felt he is improving but just doesn't have the right personality for the front of the house. Most of the restaurant is booths so he needs to give people what they want or he will lose customers. I will continue to take my mom there for now because it is good food for the money but if he is rude one more time he will lose our family's business. This restaurant could be a gold mine. Webster doesn't have very many good restaurants.
