The Phelps Hotel Restaurant is located in a historic building that's no longer a hotel, but still has the restaurant that served its first meal on New Year's Day in 1868. It now serves a variety of meat, seafood, and pasta dishes that include steaks, a shrimp stir fry, chicken dijon, grecian chicken, vegetable lasagna, and more. Daily specials include a roast turkey dinner, New Zealand lamb chops, soup and salad specials, among others. The place is also a party house and can host sit-down dinners and buffets, including wedding parties and other events.
