Whitey Proietti is one of the chef/owners that diners should search out and get to know.Try the restaurant in Webster with some friends, or maybe take one of his cooking classes. Proietti is a fun-loving character, who is more than willing to give away his recipes, both in classes and online. The restaurant is away from the Brighton-Pittsford-Rochester restaurant triangle, but worth the short drive.

Proiettis has excellent food & a relaxing atmosphere. We were given a plate of sauteed zuccini & tomatoes as a complimentary starter. Yum. The bread was fresh & tasty. The salad, good crumbly blue. For an entree I decided on chicken with mushrooms, melted mozzarella & artichokes which came with a side of fettucini alfredo. Excellent. Great portions & presentation. I ordered a pizza to go two nights later. I asked if I could have eggplant parmasian added to the pizza & they said sure! It was fantastic!

This is a top notch restaurant. We eat here often, and it is the only decent restaurant in Webster. All their entres are homemade and genuine Italian. Portions are generous, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is peaceful (a rarity these days!). I strongly recommend the Chicken Marsala. Mmmmm. Really, skip Olive Garden and Bazils and all the other nasty faux-Italian restaurants. Pay a little more and get a really great meal.

Unfortunately, my husband's veal entree was not very good. The meat was tough and the dish oversalted. My Veal Parm was very ordinary (not the greatest grade of veal) and the price at $22 did not match the quality of the meat nor the cooking.
