Jerry Serafine and Gerry Vorrasi created the "in" place in 1999, turning a 100 year old ambulance garage into a catalyst for the development of the East End. The patio is one of the most beautiful in town, especially relaxing with a goat cheese tart and then mussels steamed in white wine. 2 Vine was the address for the building before Vine Street was removed to create the parking lot. The Little Theatre and Eastman Theatre are very close.

Fair at best. My steak was grey in color, not red. The server had an attitiude and we were seated 55 minutes late and still got attitude. The wine was fair, not great by any means. Not worth the dollars we spent.

Service was freindly and fast, fish was fresh and delicious, wine was the perfect compliment, (reccommended by server). Atmosphere was lively yet cozy. Will return.

No respect for reservations and no apologies therefore; restaurant and bar are extremely loud, which makes dinner conversation difficult; menu items are expensive, but kitchen feels free to substitute items unannounced, and our server indicated "they hoped you wouldn't notice"; my dinner arrived raw, and when I asked for a cooked version, I received a lot of attitude from an expediter. No management anywhere in sight, and no apologies for multiple issues with our service and food. The server was very nice, but I would never take anyone to this restaurant.
