Up until the 1970s, Rochester still had a number of Italian delis that served pizza and full dinners. Salvatore's comes out of that tradition. Hardy Sicilian-style pizza pies are made with a sweet, but spicy, tomato sauce over a thick, chewy crust. But for those folks who don't like pizza (hard as that is to imagine), Salvatore's offers a full menu of Italian-American favorites, including pastas, chicken, and burgers. Best of all, everything can be ordered online, and even full dinners can be delivered to your door in minutes.

Very unfriendly staff. Talked to several people who have been there. All have had problems with unfriendly staff. Will not go there again. Good pizza but need to hire friendlier people.
