Up until the 1970s, Rochester still had a number of Italian delis that served pizza and full dinners. Salvatore's comes out of that tradition. Hardy Sicilian-style pizza pies are made with a sweet, but spicy, tomato sauce over a thick, chewy crust. But for those folks who don't like pizza (hard as that is to imagine), Salvatore's offers a full menu of Italian-American favorites, including pastas, chicken, and burgers. Best of all, everything can be ordered online, and even full dinners can be delivered to your door in minutes.

Had problems with staff. Not customer friendly. Keep screwing up orders. Asked for extra Blue cheese with my wings and they forgot. Called them and they were gonna deliver me some but told them never mind. They said I could have extra with my next order. Called a few weeks later to order wings again and they refused to honor their promise. Havn't been there since. My daughter has same problems. Says staff is unfriendly and uppity..I go to the one in Penfield now, much friendlier staff.
