Shogun Palace is a hibachi restaurant where chefs cook directly at diners' tables, providing both sustenance and a show. Non-hibachi tables are also available, and diners sitting at them can order a selection of striking traditional and new-style sushi. "Our sushi chef is very creative," says owner Kevin Sun; "When customers get their food they will sometimes just stare at it or take pictures." The popular Japanese restaurant Sakura Home in Pittsford is co-owned by Kevin's father-in-law, Peter Sun. Like Sakura Home, Shogun Palace has taken over a pre-existing establishment (in this case, a Ponderosa), making extensive renovations as dramatic as the meals served up by the chefs. A private room can also be reserved.

Fantastic experience. Incredible quality. As for 'Shogun' to be your hibachi chef!
