The South Wedge Diner serves up one of the best breakfasts in the city. There isn't usually a long wait, but even when it's filled on the weekends, you can still carry on a conversation without shouting across the table to your morning mate. Pancakes are a favorite.

This is by far my favorite diner in Rochester of the many that I have eaten at. High quality, great tasting traditional diner food that is cheap cheap cheap.

I've never wanted a steak knife to cut my french toast before! Homefries were incredibly bland, except for the "old" potato taste. For shame on their version of diner coffee.

My wife and I went there for lunch last week. We liked it a lot. The German potato salad was awesome.

BEWARE NEW OWNERS BEWARE
Breakfast was THE WORST I HAVE EVER HAD SINCE Marks.
Potatoes were DRY & TASTELESS. Bacon was SHAVED BARK FROM A TREE. Over easy eggs? They Spotted like the way my Grandmother used to make. I feel the waitresses aren't too happy about it either. they know me there, but I got a, TO GO OR YEA GONNA EAT IT HERE? YOU WANT COFFEE?
NOW I KNOW WHAT THEY MEANT BY "IT". My daughter and I really like to treat ourselfs to the Eggs Benni, but now are Totally Reluctant to try them. SAME HIGH PRICE, LOUSY PREPERATION, No Thanks.
For a GREAT Breakfast go right down the street to PATS DINER. A Real Mom 'n Pop place. 4.09 cmpaired to 6.95 with Howards pleasent attitude.

The South Wedge Diner is my favorite place to eat. The owner & waitresses are very friendly & the service is excellent. The food is always delicious, I never got a bad meal there, ever. When my friends & I want to go out for lunch, usually on a Saturday afternoon, I always suggest the South Wedge Diner & they always say "yes". They too have been pleased with the great food & the reasonable prices & the fantastic menu & the environment, of being around nice people, at lunch time. Come & enjoy the South Wedge Diner experience!!
