South Avenue is a hotbed of restaurant activity, and Taco John's adds to the diversity. The tiny restaurant has only a few seats, but the bright colors are inviting. John Roth is one of the youngest restaurateurs in town, and that is reflected in the character of the place. That is an asset!

This place is top notch. Go there and get some real tex mex. A ton of great vegetarian options for one to choose from. Location is easy to get to from any part of the city. Beer is always cold! If you haven't gone you better go sooner than later! Thanks John!

I'm in Afghanistan and I really miss the taco's and salsa. I can't wait till I get some leave so I can fill my belly.

Tofu is an option for filling in any of the menu items, and, for once, the unique item on the menu (mush--yum!) is veggie-friendly. A note on the menu says that all items can be made vegetarian or vegan on request.

Great burritos. Good tacos. Good quesadillas. If you have a burrito for lunch you can skip dinner.

Be careful. Sometimes on Friday the fish tacos run out before dinner is served. Que lastima!

Ate there this week, (2nd time) food was great and staff does a really good job.
I like these little places where the owner is on site wayyyyyyyyy better than any chain restaurant.

Not a lot of seating but the food is awesome!
