The Taste of New York Restaurant serves a lunch and dinner menu featuring items made with New York grown and raised ingredients. Starters include a plate of assorted grilled polenta (topped with pulled duck, roasted root vegetable chutney, and herbed Lively Run goat cheese) and chilled salmon and scallop terrine with lemon poppy seed vinaigrette. Sample the organic green salad (with red onions, candied pecans, shaker blue cheese, oranges and fresh pears, tossed with an orange maple dressing). The Taste of New York Restaurant lunch menu includes five items to choose from. Try the beer brined pork tenderloin (with maple glazed bacon lardons, empire apple slaw, and grain mustard) served open-faced on grilled pumpernickel or order yourself the pan roasted duck breast (wrapped with Hartmann's speck, dried fruit buckwheat groats risotto and citrus vinegar sauce). For dinner, pair the rib eye of beef (served with organic lentils and fresh horseradish verjus) with a glass of Osprey's Dominion Maritage wine or Southern Tier Big Red beer. As you finish up your meal, sample one of the items from the dessert menu updated daily by the resident pastry chef.
